i've been thinking about it more recently, and i think my favorite season is i love watching the leaves slowly change from fall is such a warm season. not in temperature (although climate change and is making it warmer each year, but that's a post for another day), but in
when i get out of college, i'm going to make fall magical again. i want to make every season magical again because there is no reason i should be living a boring life when there is so much and around me. my boyfriend better be ready for all the fall activities i'll plan. muehehe...
and a classic during the fall season. something about biting into a warm donut and chasing it with i fear you can't beat the feeling. the cider mill i went to as a kid was attached to an apple orchard, and sometimes we had the luxury of going into the orchard and picking our own apples. as an apple enthusiast, i will go CRAZY in those rows. LET ME AT EM. (regarding apple enthusiast: in junior year of high school, i started rating apples on my private instagram story. it bled into senior year, and it ended in the middle of that year. i'd rate the apples based on their presentation [bruising, color, holes, etc.], taste, and the first bite. it was sooo fun and i never knew what apple i would have the next day. thought about starting the series again in college, but i fear one apple is not worth a full meal credit. i have them saved on my priv insta but that's an account only for friends. soz, fellow apple enthusiasts! :P)
some people like to go to an actual to fetch their apples, but i don't really gaf. i want my pumpkins, and i want them now. when i was younger, my siblings and i would always carve pumpkins in my grandma's kitchen. it was so fun!!! she'd put down newspapers and lay out dollar store carvivng tools, hammer-and-peg kits, and stencils. setting pumpkins out on the porch is like having your art showcased in a museum. you know all the kids are interested in the carved pumpkins when they trick-or-treat, and your pumpkin will be seen by the masses.
underrated american holiday right here. we get a full day dedicated to shoveling as much as you can while surrounded by your family, and people don't like it? what!! er, well, maybe not with family, but with friends, thanksgiving is awesomesauce! it's like my dream hangout! (more like every hangout. when have i ever hung out with someone without getting food?)
i wish i were a kid again in the early 2010s. i miss counting down the days until halloween and leaving school early (when halloween landed on a weekday). i miss spending weeks thinking and creating my like i was going on a fashion show runway. i miss trick-or-treating with my mom and my siblings. i miss with my friends too. my grandma is hosting a kids halloween party this year, and i think i'm more excited than my younger sibling. i love parties, and my grandma was talking about bringing back apple bobbing and the weird witch's broom animatronic that would fall over every time it bumped into something!!! HOW EXCITING!!!!
the end!
